Yurikago Nursery provides childcare on a small scale, with one teacher to every three children.

Staying close to each child and noticing even small changes is our strength.
Our experienced teachers, centering on English, enjoy a variety of activities every day
such as art, music, and active play.

A child who won't eat vegetables at home may think "maybe I'll try it" when with friends,
and a child who struggles with naps can spend time at their own pace.
Because we are a small nursery, we cherish and nurture each child's individuality.

Curriculum

  • Language Arts

    Through the "My ABCs" activity, children learn alphabet recognition, letter tracing, and vocabulary (one word a day).

  • Creative Arts & Crafts

    Through activities such as crafts and painting, children give shape to their creativity.

  • STEM/Nature

    Through nature and the environment, we nurture curiosity about science and the natural world. Children also learn the concept of numbers, color discrimination, and shape recognition and matching.

  • Socio-Emotional Growing Up

    We nurture sociability and relationships. Children also learn the rules of daily life and emotional expression.

  • Physical Play

    Through physical play indoors and outdoors, we work to improve motor skills.

  • Sensory Play

    In line with the seasons and theme-based learning, we carry out indoor and outdoor play that stimulates the five senses.

Fee Schedule

Enrollment registration fee 15,000 THB, one-time payment. Billed together with the monthly childcare fee after attendance begins.

Monthly Plan

A reassuring plan at a fixed fee that lets your child attend every open day. If your child attends 16 or more times a month, it is more economical than the daily plan.

If pick-up is after 15:30, an extended-care fee applies.
Extension is possible until 16:30 at the latest. The extended-care fee for that month is paid together with the childcare fee at the end of the month.

Daily Plan

A plan that lets your child attend flexibly to fit your schedule.

Care fee (9 or more attendance days per month) 1,550 THB / day
  • Care hours are from 7:45 to 15:30.
  • The childcare fee includes snacks and lunch.
  • Prices include 7% VAT.

Extended Care

If pick-up is after 15:30, an extended-care fee applies.
Extension is possible until 16:30 at the latest. The extended-care fee for that month is paid together with the childcare fee at the end of the month.

FAQ

Enrollment & Age Requirements

  • How old does my child need to be to enroll?

    We accept children from around 16 months of age, when walking has become stable. Most of our children are around 2 years old, and they can attend until they move up to the Kindergarten class.

  • Can we visit the nursery? Are trial sessions available?

    Yes, we welcome visits. Please apply via our Japanese-language LINE (ID: yurikagonursery39) or through our visit request form. We will arrange a schedule and guide you from 9:00 AM on weekdays. Please note that trial sessions are not available.

Fees & Plans

  • Is it flexible to change plans or cancel?

    Plan changes between monthly and daily plans are possible on a monthly basis. For daily reservations, no childcare fee is charged even if you cancel on the day due to illness or rain. There is no need to fix specific days of the week — you can use the nursery according to your schedule and budget.

Care Content & Structure

  • What is the staff-to-child ratio?

    We maintain a generous 1:3 ratio — one caregiver for every three children — providing attentive and individualized support. We have 9 caregivers on staff, with a daily capacity of 25 children.

  • What language is used during care? Is Japanese understood?

    Activities are conducted mainly in English, though Japanese is also used during the initial settling-in period. Some of our Thai caregivers are able to communicate in Japanese. In emergencies such as injuries or fever, our Japanese staff member (Yamamoto) will handle the situation.

  • Are there events or activities for children? Can parents participate?

    We incorporate Japanese seasonal and traditional events into our Monday activities every week. While there are no events for parents to attend, we conduct individual class observations for each family between November and January. Your child's growth and development is also shared through a portfolio in March.

Daily Life & Meals

  • Can you tell me about the meals and allergy accommodations?

    We provide nutritious and delicious meals with a focus on balanced nutrition. To prevent choking accidents, food is prepared in age-appropriate sizes, ensuring safe and comfortable mealtimes.

  • Can you help with toilet training?

    Yes, we are happy to support toilet training at the nursery. We will work in sync with the timing you start at home, so please feel free to consult us.

  • What if pick-up is running late?

    Extended care is available until 4:30 PM. From 3:35 PM onwards, an extension fee of 100 THB per 30 minutes applies.
